Robert Terrell Fire Chief
Chief Terrell began his fire service as a volunteer firefighter with the City of Albertville in 1984. He was hired in 1985 and presently serves in the position of Fire Chief. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1990 and promoted to Fire Marshal in 1998. He was promoted to chief in December of 2007. Chief Terrell holds an Associate in Applied Science in Fire Science from Snead State Jr. College, 12 levels of certification from the Alabama Fire College, Emergency Medical Intermediate Level and is a certified law enforcement officer. |

William David Scott Captain Scott began his professional fire service career with Albertville Fire Department in 1976. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1979 and Captain in 1982. Captain Scott is the commander in charge of 'B' shift. Captain Scott holds an Associates Degree in Fire Science from Snead State Community College , is an Alabama State Licensed Emergency Medical Technician-Basic and 11 levels of certifications from the Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards and Educations Commission. |

John Bradley Hix C- Shift Captain Captain Hix began is career in the fire service in 1987. He served as fire marshal from 1990 to 1992. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1992 then to Captain in 2003. Captain Hix is an Alabama State Licensed Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate, a graduate of the Alabama Police Standards and Commission Academy and holds 10 certification from the Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards Commission. |

Roger Lathan Captain Lathan began his fire service in 1978 as a volunteer for the City of Albertville . He was hired full time firefighter in 1980. In 1985 was promoted to Lieutenant, promoted to Captain in 1988, promoted to Assistant Chief in 1995, appointed to Chief in 1998. After 5 years in Chief's position returned to present position of Training Officer in 2003. He presently holds an Associate in Applied Science Fire Degree and is a Paramedic. |

In 1985, I was hired by the Albertville Fire Department and have completed numerous courses in Fire Service related subjects. In May of 2008, I was promoted to Fire Marshal, and have begun new challenges in the fields of Inspection and Investigation. My career has spanned over four decades and has given me countless opportunities to serve others.
