The mission of Albertville Animal Control is to protect the health and safety of our residents and to protect animals and promote their humane treatment. The Animal Control Officer:
- Captures stray animals
- Assists in pet/owner recovery
- Resolves neighbor disputes over animals
- Assists the elderly and physically-challenged with animal concerns
- Advises and teaches residents of their responsibility as pet owners
- Advises non-pet owners of their rights
